We are bittersweet to announce we have added 2 children to the memorial wall in Scotty’s Playhouse. At the end of December, Art of Truth came all the way from Alabama and painted murals of these two deeply loved and missed children.

Jourdan created both paintings in close collaboration with the families of these two beautiful kids. He spent time on phone calls and exchanged heartfelt messages with their parents to truly understand how they wanted their sons to be remembered and represented. No parent wants to be a part of this club, but it is an honor and a privilege to be able to remember these children in this way. Families and friends of each child were able to come to a private reveal party.

For Ethan, football held some of his parents’ most treasured memories of him, so capturing him in that light felt like the most meaningful way to honor his spirit and the joy he brought to the field. The word “infinite” on his jersey comes from his football number 8, and is a reminder to persist in prayer - as the shape symbolizes infinity, signifying our resolve to never cease praying.

Maddox’s portrait was thoughtfully composed using special details his family chose together specific clothing, his stuffed animal, flowers, and butterflies each element carefully selected to reflect his personality and celebrate his life in a way that felt deeply personal and true to him.

Yes, we are open today for Presidents' Day!

We will be closed for Open Play Times Dec. 23rd to Jan. 1st for Christmas week through to the New Year as we take a break and also update our Memorial Wall Mural to honor youth who have left us too soon. We look forward to seeing you January 2nd! - Merry Christmas!
