From the history books here folks, I was never the fittest guy in high school. When I joined the I was 5’11 and maybe 150lbs. I worked out with my recruiters, I went to the pool functions and got in good enough shape to go to bootcamp. 2 years later (pics at the bottom) I was pushing 180lbs in Afghanistan. I was in the best shape of my life. It takes time, and it takes determination, the Marine Corps helped instill that mindset into me. They instilled in me that I can accomplish whatever goal I set.

If you are between the ages of 17-28 and are either on track to graduate high school or have a high school diploma, no criminal history(besides minor traffic violations), no drug history and are tired of waking up doing the same thing you did yesterday hoping that a change will come into your life, then request to sit down and speak to me and let's see if you have what it takes to serve in the Marines and live a more fulfilling and successful life. Pay is salary based off first rank and increases upon promotion, paychecks every two weeks, free room and board.
food, clothing, utilities, medical and dental are all covered and you do not pay out of pocket.

Full college tuition paid for after serving 4 years honorably.

Today Max Morton will be heading on a plane that'll take him to MCRD San Diego where he will be taking on the 12 week challenge known as boot camp, when he graduates he will be a United States Marine, a title only few can claim. He will then attend Marine Combat training and go to his engineering school before returning back to Oregon as a Marine reservist and continuing his higher level education at the University of Oregon. Max has this to say to you all "I can't wait to be a Marine!" He will see you all in 12 weeks! Let's give him a motivating sending!

It was a pleasure to watch these young men and the rest of the walk across the stage last night and earn their diplomas they all worked so hard to get! I cannot wait to see what your future holds gentleman!
