Delicata Squash 🍁🍂
Fall is in the air this week and there is no better treat than local roasted delicata squash for our fresh fruit and vegetable program (FFVP) schools to try! This squash is naturally sweet and so delicious! We are so excited for students to sample 🧡

We are so excited to announce Columbus, Grandhaven & Wascher will participate in the fresh fruit & vegetable program (FFVP) starting this Monday, November 7th! 🍎🍊🍐🥦🥬🍒🥑🫑

These schools will begin with a soft start up and serve two produce items next week that will gradually tier up to full implementation! We cannot wait for students to start this program and try a nutrient dense variety of produce!

Kitchen of the Week ~ Duniway Middle School 🌼
This week we are highlighting Deana, Jessica, and Cherilyn from Duniway MS!They do a phenomenal job serving nutritious meals while creating an uplifting atmosphere that leaves students smiling when they leave the lunch line. We are so grateful for their hard work and passion to fuel student success! If you haven’t seen their amazing fall decorations yet, you have to check it out!

She has been an amazing mentor and leader in Child Nutrition for the past two decades. To get in the spooky spirit, we are featuring mummy dogs as a special today! The dough for this festive entree was made from scratch by the amazing team at Patton Middle School! We love our talented team and can’t wait for kids to enjoy a spooky lunch today! 🎃
