Personal update and a share: my post Imagine: Play life is teaching high functioning autistic high schoolers in the Social Communication Center at Westview High School. I miss I:P and always hope to run into you and you littles (who aren't so little any more, I know!) while out and about in Yamhill County. In honor of Autism Awareness Month and keeping it local, I'd also like to invite you to join me in the effort to get a service dog for Kayden. A share, a $5 donation, and or your positive thoughts and prayers supporting the effort are all appreciated and will make a true difference.
Click here to support #ServiceDog4Kayden - Help Kayden! organized by Erin White My amazing son Kayden is 9 years old, non-verbal and has moderate autism. He is also prone to "meltdowns" and elopement/running away, especially in public spaces where he gets overwhelmed easily......and he has zero sense of danger. As most of you know, we brought home a standard poodle puppy nam...

Checking out Clubhouse Adventures in Salem with the two youngest grandkids. All these littles running and playing sure do make me miss the fun we had at Imagine: Play. The Eye Play floor video game is super cool.

Here's a hint while I work on the story of the new home for the tugboat, biplane and train. No, I didn't take this picture myself, but I could have :)

Our very last birthday party: Sweet and adventurous Maggie turns 3
Last day today- feels a bit surreal! I have a couple of photos to stage today, then will be ready to begin the photo story of the new home for the boat, plane and train. My goal is to create something you can read to your kids, similar to the other two stories I have done here (see the photo albums for Little Lost Penguin and Wandering Puppy).
Ended this evening with a sweet, heartfelt thank you that brought me to tears as tears were gulped back by the lovely speaker. Thank YOU, for being wonderful, and making this failed venture so often be a great joy as well.
The bounce house was kissed goodbye today as a little one left. Another parent told the story of her shy 7 year old asking to speak to her class and telling them about Imagine: Play in an effort to get more kids in and keep it open, and I have been told of three littles who offered their very own piggy banks... so sweet! Do be sure to get those kids in to visit and play with the boat, plane and train when you get to the beach later this year (oops did I say that out loud? It's another hint about their new home

Remember this story? I am working on another one to finish our story and show the boat, plane and train going on together to a wonderful new home
Read the photo captions for the story of a lovey left behind at Imagine: Play. We try to remind little guests to leave loveys with their shoes in a cubby, but sometimes things just don't work out that way.
Last field trip today ~ it was a pleasure to see the whole place full with so much activity and imagination!
Baby Ballerina and other great classes- check out The Dance & Fitness Studio in Monmouth for fun summer camps and dance classes offered for ages 2 to adult. Link to their page in the top comment. Easy drive from many Yamhill County communities and Salem as well.
