McPherson County is implementing traffic safety improvements at the intersections of Old 81 & Arrowhead Road and Old 81 & 22nd Avenue.

Following a Traffic Engineering Assistance Program (TEAP) study completed by Kirkham Michael, both intersections will be converted from two-way stops to four-way stops. Changes will also include flashing red lights at the stop signs and rumble strips in advance to the stop signs. These improvements are intended to create safer, more predictable intersections for residents, visitors, and all who travel these roads.

Please take a moment to review the attached maps, watch for the new signage, and use extra caution as drivers become familiar with the changes.
