WEST MEAD TOWNSHIP 2026 SUMMER ROAD PROJECTS

West Mead Township will be starting its summer road paving projects on Saybrooke Road, Chad Lane, Cyrus Lane and Pawnee Drive and a section of Williamson Road, between Stauffer Road and Phelps Road, beginning on Monday, August 17th, 2026. Shields Asphalt Paving will be doing the paving work and they are hoping to finish by the middle of the week but all work is weather dependent.

The roads will be closed at various times and most will be done in one pass with the paver, so please be prepared to be out of the subdivision roads by 7am on Monday morning and the paving could go into the early evening. The paving company will address each driveway to the best of their ability. Contact us at the Township if you have any potential projects or driveway issues as soon as possible. Follow directions from the flagmen and road workers.

We ask for your patience while we work on completing these projects as soon as possible and remind you to slow down while traveling in any work zone. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] or 814-336-1271.
