Crawford County Democratic Committee The Crawford County Democratic Committee is located in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to elect qualified Democrats at every level of Government.

THREE DAYS LEFT!

That’s right — you have three more days (today, Monday, and Tuesday) to vote in-person at the county courthouse. October 27 is the last day to request a mail ballot from 8:30-4:30 at 903 Diamond Park in Meadville.

Once you receive your ballot about 10 minutes later, fill it out at the courthouse for Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis, Justin Wagner For Congress, Sue Mulvey for State Senate, and either Michael Walker, Amanda Shaffer, or Destiny Howard.

Then, put your ballot in the envelope, and return it to Voter Services without leaving the courthouse. That’s it! You’ve voted in advance of November 3!

The City of Meadville will subsidize Crawford County no longer!

The county’s lack of a property tax reassessment since 1969 was ruled unconstitutional today by the court system. Meadville won its challenge of a system that placed an unfair burden on the city’s taxpayers. This ruling is a major step toward a fairer property tax system for the entire county.

This is a win worth celebrating in a country that over the last couple years has begun to careen off the cliff. Fairness and accountability matter!

Lindsey Helfrey Scott, our Chair, told us that Peter Brian Hegseth (Sec of WARRRR) wants to livestream the ex*****on of Nidal Hasan. Death by firing squad. Publicly watching our soldiers killing someone is awful on its face. For all of us. It normalizes the state committing homicide. The Governor of Virginia wouldn't allow John Brown’s ex*****on to be open to the full public because he feared rioting and rescue attempts. John Wilkes Booth had to steal a confederate uniform to get in.

Still, John Brown's murder created a martyr, and union soldiers sung the name John Brown's Body into battle.

The reason Trump won't let Hegseth livestream the Army firing squad? 12 soldiers pumping lead into a man in a wheelchair is a bad look. It’s probably worse if you have to duct tape him to a pole first.
