🇺🇸 Take a bite out of history tomorrow night!

Join us for Taste of History: World War II Rationing and discover how families got creative in the kitchen during the 1940s.

🍽️ Sample Victory Garden vegetable soup, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, wartime chocolate pudding, oatmeal cookies, and lemonade while learning how rationing shaped America’s dinner tables.

Melbourne Public Library is very excited to offer our 4th Annual Giving Tree this year🎄
Stop in to the library to sign up during business hours or fill out the Google form below.

All information will be confidential.
Tags will be added to the tree starting in November 1st, for those who wish to pick a tag and buy a gift.
Gifts will be returned to us and we will give to the appropriate person. (If you would like us to do the wrapping, we can do that as well!)
Please share the word to those in Melbourne, Rhodes and surrounding Rural areas.
All ages are welcome to be signed up for! Babies, Kids, Teens, Adults. Whoever you wish to sign up for.
We would love to fill the tree with tags and be able to empty it before Christmas to make someone's day! ❤

We’re looking to add the Mercy Watson series by Kate DiCamillo to our library collection, and we’re wondering if anyone has some gently used copies they’d be willing to donate!

If you have any Mercy Watson books that your family has outgrown or no longer needs, we would LOVE to give them a new home on our library shelves. 🥰📖

✨ Individual books or the whole series welcome!
✨ We’ll happily give these funny little pig adventures a new life with our library kiddos! 🐷💕
