The Sales Surtax renewal is paid for by everyone who shops in Brevard and funds major improvements to our school facilities. This is not a new tax.

Sales Surtax funding allows Brevard Public Schools to complete essential projects that keep campuses safe, comfortable, and ready to serve students for years to come.

At Roy Allen, Sales Surtax funding made our covered walkways and HVAC improvements possible. These enhancements help ensure that students and staff can travel to and from our portable classrooms comfortably and safely, protected from Florida's unpredictable weather.

From updated air-conditioning systems and new roofs to renovated classrooms, playgrounds, tracks, and safety improvements, these investments help ensure our school buildings continue meeting the needs of students and staff.

Strong Schools. Strong Brevard.

Today, we’re celebrating our amazing custodians at Roy Allen Elementary for National School Custodian Day! 🧹❤️

Our custodians do so much more than keep our school clean. They help create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable place for our students and staff each day. From the classrooms and hallways to all the little things that happen behind the scenes, their hard work makes a difference in our school community every single day.

We are so grateful for the care, dedication, and pride you bring to Roy Allen. Thank you for everything you do to help make our school a wonderful place to learn and grow!

Happy National School Custodian Day! We appreciate you! 💙

Investing in the people who make our schools thrive.

80% of millage funding supports employee compensation for the teachers, support staff, and school employees who serve students every day.

From the classroom to the front office, cafeteria, transportation department, and beyond, these dedicated professionals play an important role in creating safe, supportive learning environments for students across Brevard County.

This is not a new tax. The millage is a renewal of an existing local funding source that helps support employee compensation and school operations throughout Brevard County.

By investing in the people who support our students, millage helps Brevard Public Schools continue attracting and retaining a strong workforce dedicated to student success.

Strong Schools. Strong Brevard.
