NOTICE FROM IZARD COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION:
PUBLIC VOTE MACHINE TEST

The Izard County Election Commission do hereby give public notice they will meet and do a public testing on the county’s election equipment and media for logic and accuracy testing to be used in the November 3rd 2026 General Election early voting period and election day voting.
The testing will take place beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8th at the Elections Office behind the Izard County Courthouse in Melbourne.

Izard County Board of Election Commissioners will meet Friday, October 2nd, for the purpose of updating the Election Worker list for the Nov. 3rd 2026 general election. 10:00 a.m., Izard county courthouse conference room.

There are several websites that offer a sample ballot to view, but there is only one place to view your complete sample ballot that you will see when you vote: https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org/VoterView

Remember: The person who lives across the street from you may have different races on his ballot. It's important to look up YOUR ballot before you vote!

The list of appointed Izard county election workers for the November 3rd 2026 general election has been posted outside the Izard county clerk's office.
Poll workers will be receiving their assignments in the mail soon.

The Izard County Board of Election Commissioners will be meeting on Monday September 21, at 10:00 am for the purpose of finalizing the list of election workers for the November 3, 2026 General Election. The meeting will be at the Izard County Courthouse.

REMINDER: New poll worker training this Thursday, September 17th, 9 am at the courthouse in Melbourne. Please come a few minutes early if you can to fill out some paperwork.
Old pollworkers: if you already trained this year, you are welcome to come again for a refresher course. Only new pollworkers will be paid for this training though.
Old supervisors: you're welcome to attend the advanced course following the basic course. We don't have an exact time when that will start. Basic usually lasts a couple of hours, followed by a short break, then advanced.
