🦴🔍 5th Grade Panthers Explore Natural History at the Field Museum! 🏛️🐾

Our 5th Grade Panthers had an amazing learning adventure at the Field Museum! Students explored the Native Truths: Experiencing the Pawnee Earth Lodge exhibit, where they gained a deeper understanding of Pawnee culture, traditions, and daily life. They also had the opportunity to discover fascinating natural history exhibits and make real-world connections to their classroom learning.

Our Panthers are hard at work during math time, rotating through engaging stations, collaborating with partners, practicing independently, and strengthening their skills through i-Ready lessons! ✏️📚

Students stay motivated by earning a spot in Mrs. Gaston’s Lottery each time they successfully complete an i-Ready lesson, giving them a chance to win a special prize. 🎉

We love seeing our Panthers focused, engaged, and taking ownership of their learning while building confidence and math skills every day! 💙🧡

Ms. Mayorga’s 5th grade Dual Language Panthers proudly showcased their Solar System projects as the culminating activity following their study of the solar system. Through research, creativity, and hands-on learning, students demonstrated their understanding of the planets and other celestial objects. We are so proud of the hard work, curiosity, and scientific thinking our young astronomers displayed as they brought their learning to life! 🚀⭐🌟

🦋🐢 Animal Life Cycles Come to Life! 🐸🦅

Mrs. Eifrid’s 3rd grade Panthers put their research and creativity on display with their amazing Animal Life Cycle projects! Students investigated different animals, learned about each stage of their life cycles, and created detailed 3D models to showcase their learning. Working together as a team made the experience even more meaningful and so much fun to watch. We are incredibly proud of their collaboration, hard work, and the outstanding job they did, bringing science to life! 🌟👏🐾

Congratulations to our Panthers who earned Perfect Attendance for the month of September! 🎉 These students were recognized for showing up every day, ready to learn and grow. To celebrate their commitment, they received a certificate and enjoyed popcorn or a special treat! 🍿🏆

Students with perfect attendance were also proudly featured on our Perfect Attendance Bulletin Board as we celebrated their dedication and commitment to being at school every day. 🌟

🚌🐾 Safety First, Panthers! 🐾🚌

Our Panthers recently participated in a School Bus Evacuation Drill, where they learned important bus safety procedures, including how to identify and use emergency exits and what to do in the event of an emergency. Students listened, learned, and practiced safe evacuation techniques while gaining valuable knowledge to help keep everyone safe. Best of all, they enjoyed this hands-on learning experience! 💛🖤

🌞🛝 Learning Through Play! 🐾

Our Preschool Panthers are making the most of outdoor learning time! While playing on the playground, students are building large muscle strength, improving balance and coordination, and developing spatial awareness while having fun with friends. 💪🌟

From climbing and running to exploring and imagining, every moment outdoors helps our youngest Panthers grow stronger, more confident, and ready to learn. The smiles, laughter, and excitement say it all! 🛝☀️🐾

🚒🔥 Fire Safety Comes to Life! 🔥🚒

Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade Panthers had an exciting visit from the Melrose Park Fire Department! Students learned important fire safety tips, explored a real fire truck up close, and even had the opportunity to sit in the driver's seat. 🚒👨‍🚒

The smiles said it all as our Panthers asked questions, discovered how firefighters help keep our community safe, and experienced the fire truck's amazing features firsthand. It was a memorable learning experience, and our students loved every minute of it!

A huge thank you to the Melrose Park Fire Department for spending time with our Panthers and inspiring future heroes! ❤️🖤🐾
