Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. Below is Resolution Number 33 which passed by a vote of the Memphis City Council this afternoon.
We want to thank Councilwoman Easter Thomas, Councilman Smiley, Councilman Warren, and Councilman Jones for sponsoring this resolution. We will continue to keep you informed of related activities as we view this as a start, but not the end, of the actions necessary to sufficiently respond to the events of November 6.
We pledge to keep you informed and invite you to provide me any input, criticism, etc. as we continue to engage the community in a discussion about how we can make a new Memphis, TN truly a city of good abode for ALL who dwell within.
