Join the Institute of Egyptian Art and Archaeology for our annual Family Day, Saturday May 2nd at the Art Museum of the University of Memphis from 11am-2pm!

Activities for everyone, from kids to adults and folks in-between. Bring your family or take a fun break from finals.

Learn to write your name in hieroglyphs, make an Egyptian amulet, learn how to sort and record pottery like an archaeologist, and many more hands-on activities! There will be plenty of Egyptologists on hand-- so bring your questions!

Shelly Bell of the MCBI has made this one-of-a-kind beaded ornament, showcasing amazing craftsmanship and the U of M logo! Tomorrow at Chucalissa we'll hold a raffle open to University of Memphis staff, faculty, student volunteers and alumni. The winner will get to take this incredible object home!
