In observance of Juneteenth, Catholic Charities of West Tennessee's offices will be closed today, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on freedom, dignity, justice, and the ongoing work of building stronger communities for all.

While our offices are closed today, we look forward to continuing our mission of serving our neighbors in need when we reopen.

It was a busy and beautiful day across our campus last week! 💙

From Orion employees supporting our Mobile Pantry, to youth from United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, TX working with Jeany in our garden, to our dedicated Thursday Clothing Closet volunteers sorting donations, every corner of campus was filled with service and compassion.

We’re grateful for the many hands and hearts that help make our mission possible each day. Together, we’re bringing hope and dignity to our neighbors in need. ✨

A huge thank you to Mechanical Systems Company, LLC for donating and installing a new A/C system in our shower wing.

What may seem like an air conditioner is so much more. It's comfort, dignity, and relief for neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship during the Memphis summer heat.

Because of partners like MSC, we can continue providing hope and support when it is needed most.

This improvement is just one example of the incredible momentum taking place across our campus. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses, foundations, and community partners, we are making meaningful improvements that help us better serve the more than 41,000 neighbors who turn to Catholic Charities each year.

Our staff had a great time cleaning up the block of Jefferson and Cleveland, home to our campus! We’re proud to care for our community and live out our mission of promoting the dignity of every person in all that we do.
