"The is leading the way in freight and transportation planning.

Working with the University of Memphis, we surveyed truckers, logistics managers, warehouse operators, and supply chain professionals to better understand freight movement and needs across the Greater Memphis region, a nationally significant freight hub.

The results are in:https://memphismpo.org/sites/default/files/documents/plans/multi-modals/freight/mpo-freight-survey-2025.pdf

Why it matters: as a key logistics center, smart freight planning helps the Mid-South lower costs, reduce congestion, improve air quality, and support quality jobs. This input will guide future transportation investments and keep our region moving forward.

Thank you to the University of Memphis and the freight professionals whose insights are helping shape the future of transportation in the Mid-South"
