Today EvergreenUV is pleased to announce the employee-led purchase of the company from United Enertech Holdings (UEH). Memphis-based Evergreen UV is the manufacturer for industry-leading Lumalier™ in-duct, upper-air and surface UV products.

UEH acquired controlling interest of Evergreen /Lumalier at the height of the COVID Pandemic in 2020. During the ownership of UEH, Lumalier continued its legacy of being the foremost client-driven, science-based UVC manufacturer, celebrating its 60th anniversary in the summer of 2023. The sale of Evergreen UV was a difficult but mutually beneficial decision by UEH, based, in part, on rapidly-changing demand and advanced technology requirements of the UVC industry that no longer compliment the core business strategies of UEH and its collective companies. With this sale, Evergreen UV’s dominant Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) products will continue to provide solutions that lead to safe and healthy living conditions for millions of people worldwide.

The sale of EvergreenUV/Lumalier returns full ownership to current President David Skelton. Skelton has more than 45 years of manufacturing and marketing experience and is an active member of ASHRAE as well as the past chair of ASHRAE’s TC 2.9 committee on Ultraviolet Air and Surface Disinfection. Joining him is the entirety of the Lumalier manufacturing and engineering teams that have on average more than 30 years of client-driven, science-based experience.
