Today is the last FULL day of the school year. Remember, all KIPP Memphis schools will dismiss early Friday, May 27 beginning at noon. Please see the dismissal schedule below. We are excited to announce that Mr. LaDerrick Williams, 6th grade science teacher at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Middle, has received the Harriett Ball Excellence in Teaching Award from the KIPP Foundation! Mr. Williams is one of ten outstanding teachers from across 270 schools and 28 regions in the national KIPP network. The award is named in honor of Harriett Ball, the master teacher who shaped the creation of KIPP. Congratulations Mr. Williams! We are so proud of you!

We want our KMAE families to have a safe and enjoyable Easter Weekend! Remember that there is no school on Friday, April 15 in observance of Good Friday. We encourage KMAE families to attend the Community Easter Extravaganza on April 16 at the Hollywood Community Center. We'll see you on Monday!

Don't forget to join our friends Telisa Franklin II and Althea Greene at the Community Easter Extravaganza on Saturday, April 16! Kids and families can enjoy food, games, music and more! We hope to see you there, KMAE families!

KIPP Memphis Academy Middle parents should mark their calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, April 14 from 3:30-6:30 PM! Come and meet your KIPPster's teacher see our principal, Mrs. Frazier!

Don't forget KIPPsters! Saturday, April 9th is a regular school day with an early dismissal. KMAE students will arrive at their normal start time and receive lunch in the morning. KMAE will dismiss at 11:30 AM on Saturday.

Summer School Information.

This Saturday is a regular school day for our KMAE scholars! All KIPPsters should come to school, ready to learn on Saturday, April 9. Uniforms will not be required, but students should follow the KIPP Memphis dress code. Let's finish the school year strong and prepare for a great TCAP assessment!

Good Morning! KMAEzing Parents & Guardians our needs assessment is available for your use. Our needs assessment allows us the option to systematically examine, identify, understand, and prioritize the needs that must be addressed to improve outcomes for all students. We want to hear directly from our KMAE families about their needs. The assessment allows families the opportunity to express needs and satisfaction with family engagement practices in the areas of school climate, effective communication, leadership & participation, and support services. To complete the survey click the link below. Also, we will be having our 3rd Quarter Awards Day Ceremony on this Friday, April 8, 2022. K-2 will be held at 9am until 9:30am and 3rd-4th from 9:30am until 10:00am. Due to Covid restrictions we are limited to (2) guest per each honoree; we will be sending home invitations with scholars this week.
