Excited to see how Bike/Ped Memphis is altering the street scape of the site of the 2011-12 Park(ing) Day Memphis in a more day to day manner.

Last Day to submit an idea for Park(ing) Day!
Memphis Park(ing) Day 2016: Submission form All applications must be submitted online. The application is 3 short pages; the first page discusses proposal guidelines, the second page asks for information about you or your organization, and the last page asks for information about your proposed "Park".
I am so glad they printed this quote from one of our organizers;

Park(ing) Day Memphis Preview event on April 28th, 2016 on south main in front of the Holloran Centre from 12-6:30 p.m.

It brings me much joy to say that not only will there be a Park(ing) Day 2016 in September but there will also be a preview event on April 28th in conjunction with the inaugural Region Smart event at the Halloran Center on South Main.
The Park(ing) Day preview event will include 6 "Parks" that showcase some of the creative minds in Memphis. While I have invited several creatives to submit ideas I wanted to extend the invite to all you devoted Park(ing) Day lovers!
