Our next distribution is Saturday, Dec 15 from 9-4 pm. Bring your approval email, photo id and proof of government assistance. We will be walking the line to verify these to facilitate faster service. Dress warmly!

Based on the forecast calling for rain today and tonight, with a low above freezing, we are NOT rescheduling our toy distribution tomorrow for Families A-L. Distribution begins at 9 am. Drive safe.

Attention Families A-L: Read this entire post!

The distribution event this weekend is still going on as planned.

We are aware and monitoring the anticipated snow expected this weekend.

If the base closes and we believe that there is reasonable risk to our staff, volunteers and families picking up toys, then we will reschedule this pickup date to the makeup date of December 19.

This decision will be posted on our website and this page when that decision is made.

Please monitor this page and our website, including prior to coming to Millington to pick up toys, as it may change the morning of.

Shelby County applicants with last names beginning with A-L: Read this entire post!

A-L Families’ distribution is Sunday, December 9th from 9 am to 4 pm. The location is the Pat Thompson Center in Millington TN. There are no public restrooms and no applicants (or children) will be authorized in the building. There are no exemptions.

Please ensure you bring a copy of your approval email, a photo ID and evidence (as listed in your approval email) that you have the children you applied for. If a friend, loved one or secondary contact is picking your toys up for you, you will need to write a note authorizing them to pick up your toys for you by name (matching their ID) and they must have your documentation. There will be no exemptions made for anyone that does not have the appropriate paperwork.

Parking for all applicants will be in the parking lot to the east of our distribution building.

All areas surrounding our distribution building, including Attu St (From Navy Rd to Hornet Ave) Bougainville Rd, Indianapolis Ave (From Bougainville Rd to Attu St) and parking lots immediately around/adjacent to Pat Thompson Center and the National Guard Armory will be closed and restricted to our staff and volunteers only.

All applicants receiving toys will park in the designated areas or be towed at owners expense.

Please use reference the enclosed map. The red/green square is the designated parking for applicants. The yellow line is where the line will form for distribution.

Some Tuesday Motivation! Marines from Bridge Company C, 6th ESB, a reserve unit in Memphis, and volunteers were hard at work this last weekend finishing our first Shelby County bagging!

A special thank you goes to Freds, which donated over $20,000 in toys to our program.

Parents and Applicants: Toys For Tots Memphis does not call individuals with information on their application status nor do we provide any information if we are called or emailed by you to protect your personal information from being compromised.

If you receive a call from someone identifying themselves as a representative from Toys For Tots Memphis and reside in Tipton or Shelby County, do not give any information to the caller. Please document the name, phone number and any other information and report it to [email protected].

As a reminder, Toys For Tots Memphis only provides status updates via the automated email system during the application acceptance phase of our campaign.

Please abide by the email you last received for your current status in regards to approval for toys. As of November 16, no statuses were updated or changed.

Please ensure you bring your approval email, ALL verification documents (for every child, as explained in your approval email) and a photo ID with you to your distribution event. This is regardless if you emailed these documents.

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE TOYS FOR EACH CHILD WITHOUT THESE DOCUMENTS BEING PRESENTED AT TIME OF DISTRIBUTION!

If you intend to have a friend or family member pick up your toys for you, then you need to print and sign a note identifying them by name (matching their photo ID) to pick up your toys on your behalf. Ensure that they have all your verification documentation for your children (or copies), or they will not receive the toys for you. We will retain these notes for our records.

There will be no exceptions made for anyone.

We’ve started picking up toys and we’ve got our labels from the printers. Bagging toys officially begins tomorrow! Tipton County, be ready for Distribution Day in Munford this next weekend!

Your Local Marines Hard At Work!

We did two events this weekend. The first was at the Carriage Crossing in Collierville, where Marines collected donations and toys before escorting Santa from his helicopter arrival!

Next was the I Love Whitehaven event held in Whitehaven, where Marines collected donations and brought community awareness to the program and its need for support!

Semper Fidelis! Today is the US Marine Corps Birthday! So what better way to celebrate than helping raise more toys for kids?

The 10th Annual Toys For Tots Memphis Motorcycle Run was a great success! Over 80 bikes and multiple vehicles participated in our ride!

A very special thank you to Lawful Sons Motorcycle Club for helping us organize this along with all the clubs that participated. Lets spread the word for next years run!
