๐๐ถ Hispanic Heritage Month at Frederick Douglass High School! ๐ถ๐
At Douglass, culture is something we live, share, and celebrate throughout our school. Today, Ms. Hardrick Spanish students brought that spirit to life with their end-of-quarter projects. Their colorful posters and tri-fold displays filled the cafeteria, where students from across the school took part in a gallery walk and learned about Hispanic cultures, traditions, values, and beliefs. โค๏ธ๐๐
All three lunches were filled with Hispanic music, and plenty of joy. Ms. Hardrick also treated her students to a delicious catered meal as part of the celebration. ๐ฎ๐๐ฝ
A heartfelt thank-you to Ms. Hardrick for creating such a welcoming and meaningful experience, and to Ms. Hayes, Ms. P. Lee, and everyone who helped make the day special. Weโre grateful for the phenomenal staff members who show our students how much they care through their time, creativity, and hard work.
What a joyful day at Douglass! โค๏ธ๐๐
