Thanks to Shelia Lee for passing on her father’s information. Ssg DJ Lee of the 580th A.A.A.

With a special thanks to Greg Roy for the site update with his Grandfather’s photos. Additional photos from around the Bad Tolz Area of Operations. The 580th were probably dealing with all the DP’d persons from all the liberated concentration camps. The pictures came with names and some info. I just haven’t finished typing it all in the photos info.

Received this photo of a "Bring Back" certificate. Looks like it was issued to T/5 John P. Mulkern. He shows to be listed in the Headquarters Battery, and was from Roxbury, Mass.

I know I for one am always looking for old photos, or stories of their travels,of my Great Grandfather from the unit during those days. Thanks and stay safe.

For some, today is the only day that the fall cross their mind, for others a day doesn't go by that they don't........
