🦁🌱 COMMUNITY IN ACTION AT LAROSE! 🌱🦁

What an incredible day of service, teamwork, and community pride! LaRose Community School would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to City Memphis City Beautiful and Memphis Allies for coming out and partnering with our students and staff for The Great Community Clean Up Project! 🧤🌿♻️

Our scholars had the opportunity to roll up their sleeves, work alongside community partners, beautify the area surrounding our school, and learn firsthand that taking pride in your community begins with each of us. ❤️

We are especially grateful to every volunteer, staff member, student, and community partner who helped make this initiative possible. Your time, energy, resources, and willingness to serve our South City community did not go unnoticed!

This was about more than picking up litter and beautifying our surroundings—it was about showing our children the power of service, responsibility, collaboration, and community. 🌎✨

A clean community is a strong community, and every helping hand makes a BIG impact!

❤️💚💛 ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. ONE SOUTH CITY!
🦁 We Are Lions. We Are Learners. We Are Community.

📌 Art Submission Deadline: Friday, October 2, 2026
📌 Turn submissions in to your homeroom teacher
🎟️ Participating students will receive a dress down pass and be entered for a chance to win a Chick-fil-A lunch

It’s been a week and we are still in awe of the turnout for our annual Donuts with Dads!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for Donuts with Dads! Thank you to all of the dads, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, father figures, families, staff members, and supporters who took time out of their day to show up for our scholars.
We are extremely grateful to Brown Baptist who came out to support our children and help make this event so special. Your presence demonstrated the power of community, mentorship, and positive role models in the lives of our students. Thank you for showing up, pouring into our scholars, and reminding them that they have a community of people cheering them on! 💙

It was wonderful to see our LaRose Lions surrounded by so much love, laughter, fellowship, and community. 🦁🍩 Your presence, encouragement, and support helped create memories that our students will cherish.
