Join us from September 22nd to 24th for a deeply rooted intentional gathering where we will commune with Nature, both around us and within us. At the heart of it all, we remember: We are Nature.

🌿🍃🌟 The Ritual 🌟🍃🌿 On the evening of the 23rd, under the canopy of trees, we'll gather to honor the changing of seasons. As the sun sets and the moon rises, we'll offer gratitude to the Earth for her bountiful gifts and to the sky for the balance of day and night. Our ritual will weave together elements of fire, water, earth, and air, inviting the presence of the ancient spirits of the land. We will also pay reverence to our Ancestors through dance and storytelling, connecting with the wisdom of those who came before us.

🌾🌄🌿 Sacred Portal 🌿🌄🌾 The Sanctuary's Sacred Portal will host a beautifully adorned altar, a tapestry of colors, leaves, and feathers, representing the diverse tapestry of life. Offerings of fruits, grains, and handcrafted tokens will be placed here, connecting us to the essence of the season. Feel free to bring your own offerings to share with the community and add to the sacred space.

🍽️🌌🌻 Communal Feasting 🌻🌌🍽️ Each day, our communal feasts will celebrate the abundance of the harvest season. From foraged herbs to garden-fresh vegetables, we'll craft delicious meals together over open fires and share stories of our personal connections to the land. Bring your favorite recipes to exchange with fellow nature enthusiasts, and let our meals nourish not only our bodies but our souls.

🏕️🌌✨ Simplicity of Off-Grid Camping and Being ✨🌌🏕️ In the embrace of the Living Lore Sanctuary, we will return to simplicity. We invite you to camp under the starry sky, leaving behind the distractions of modern life. Bring your tents, hammocks, or sleep under the blanket of stars. Let the rustling leaves and gentle breezes lull you to sleep and awaken you in harmony with the rhythms of nature.

🌲🌿🌞 Embrace the Equinox 🌞🌿🌲 The Autumn Equinox at the Living Lore Sanctuary in Linden invites you to co-create a magical journey of connection and oneness with the natural world. Together, we'll awaken the animist spirit within, fostering a deep connection to the land, the seasons, and one another.

🌱💚 Offering and Gratitude 💚🌱 We kindly ask that you bring a food offering to share with one another. Additionally we will pay reverence to our Elders and Gatekeepers (our closest neighbors that offer you parking and watch over the Sanctuaryfor us) Please bring $10 as well as a food offering for their pantry for the coming months. Offerings to the Sanctuary itself are encouraged and can take many forms, from providing mulch for the sacred circle, straw for the paths or financial contributions for ongoing improvements.

We all have an innate inner knowing; intuition, internal wisdom, a wise inner guide that points us toward the things and the people that are truly life-giving to our souls. Women in particular have a powerful, keen intuition. A deep inner sense that tells us what we need, what will nourish us, what will help us versus what will harm us. It tells us truth.

In our culture of perfectionism, “shoulds,” I-need-to-be-more-like-this, and even, I’ve-been-told-I-need-to-be-more-like-this, our inner Wild Woman has been suffocated. As women, we’ve been told that we need to be sweet... To dress like this, look like that, be like this; appease, please, perform and conform at all costs.

And there is a cost.  We’ve internalized these messages and have contorted ourselves in a way that has stifled our inner Wild Woman. We’ve put a muzzle on that wise, inner guide, that soul voice that’s bursting to cry out and remind us of what we’re passionate about, what lights us up, what we feel, what we need in order to live our most joy-filled, authentic, abundantly rich and yummy lives.

Join us in a circle of Courageous and Wise Women as we take the Noble plunge into the depths for 14 rich and rewarding months contemplating “Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype” by Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Ph.D, Jungian psychoanalyst.

In this contemplative book study, we will explore, process, create, howl, whirl & twirl, and connect more deeply to ourselves and to other women as we dive into our psychic waters to RETRIEVE and REVIVE our inner Wild Woman.
 

Begins Tuesday, February 21st at 7pm (we will be contemplating the first chapter together.)
