Congratulations to Carra Powell, our Senior Vice President of Advocacy, on her selection for Cohort 11 of the Policy Innovators in Education (PIE) Network Leadership Institute! ๐ŸŽ‰ Carra joins an elite group of education leaders from across the country for this yearlong leadership experience, becoming part of a network of more than 205 education leaders who have completed the institute.

Weโ€™re thrilled to see Carra recognized for her leadership and excited to see all sheโ€™ll bring to Tennessee students through this experience. You make us proud, Carra! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

๐Ÿ€ BIG things are happening at Memphis Grizzlies Prep! ๐Ÿ€

Weโ€™re excited to officially share our partnership with The Design Besties as they bring their nationally recognized work to our new South Memphis campus!

The Design Besties are completely reimagining our Teachersโ€™ Lounge into a restorative space designed to remind our educators just how much they are valued.

But they arenโ€™t stopping there.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Memphis Grizzlies Prep will also be home to the FIRST student-centered space ever created by The Design Besties!

As we celebrate nearly 15 years of serving Memphis students, move into our new home, and launch the Memphis Grizzlies Prep STEAM School for Girls, weโ€™re building more than a school. Weโ€™re creating a campus where students and educators can learn, lead, belong and thrive.

And thereโ€™s room on this team for YOU.

Businesses. Organizations. Volunteers. Donors. Community leaders. Memphis champions.

If you believe our young people deserve incredible opportunities and incredible spaces, "Get In The Game" with Memphis Grizzlies Prep. ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Brotherhood is more than a word at GP. Itโ€™s a commitment to showing up for one another! ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’™

A huge THANK YOU to Jahmai Mashack for visiting Memphis Grizzlies Prep and making a generous donation to support our Culture Incentives Program!

His gift will help us purchase two controllers for a recently donated PS5 and provide gifts and goodies that our students can earn by winning Core Value competitions. These incentives help us celebrate the young men who consistently demonstrate what it means to live out the GP Core Values.

Jahmai is officially a part of our Brotherhood, and we are grateful for his investment in our students and our culture.

Welcome to the GP Family, Big Brother Jahmai! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿป
