From skeptic to superfan! 🏓✨

For Power of Play Week, we spoke with Germantown local Kinta Noble to talk about how a simple game completely transformed her community experience.

Kinta and her husband were regulars at Cameron Brown Park long before the pickleball boom. When the new courts were first built, she wasn’t so sure about them—but one game was all it took to steal her heart. Now, she’s out there enjoying the friendships, the fun and the welcoming spirit that defines Germantown play. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or picking up a paddle for the very first time, there is a spot on the court waiting for you.

We also want to send a huge thank you to Kinta for showing some major love to our grounds crew (especially Roman!) for keeping our courts in pristine, championship-ready shape every single day. 🧹💚

Playing games, building lifelong friendships and having a beautifully maintained place to do it all—that is the true Power of Play.

We appreciate your immense patience and enthusiasm as we worked to bring these courts to life. Meet Audrey! For our littlest residents, Germantown isn’t just a city—it’s a massive map of adventures waiting to be discovered. As we kick off Power of Play Week for National Park and Recreation Month, we wanted to share what play looks like through the eyes of the kids who inspire our work every day.

From climbing to new heights to racing down the slides, our playgrounds are where imagination takes flight, coordination grows and lifelong childhood memories are made. 🛝❤️

All week long, we’ll be sharing heartwarming insights from our community alongside exciting highlights from our sports division. Because in Germantown, we have something to keep everyone moving!

What is your child’s absolute favorite playground in town? Drop it in the comments! 👇🌳
