🐾 Kindness took flight at Journey Northeast Academy! 💙🧡

This week, our Little Lynx learned about the importance of friendship, kindness, and community. During our Buddies Not Bullies celebration, scholars released blue and orange balloons as a symbol of their commitment to creating a positive school culture.

🧡 Orange represented a commitment to standing against bullying.

💙 Blue represented the unity that makes Northeast Academy strong. It's never too early to teach scholars the value of respect, compassion, and belonging.

🐾 Join us in celebrating our Little Lynx and their commitment to choosing friendship, building community, and being Buddies, Not Bullies!

🍁 Plates, smiles, and Lynx pride!

Our Northeast Academy family grew even closer as parents and grandparents joined us on campus for a festive feast!

Gathering together around the table to share a meal, celebrate our students, and build community is what makes our Lynx family so special.

Thank you to all of the wonderful families who came out to share good food, great conversation, and warm memories with our scholars. Check out a few moments from this wonderful event! 💙💛

Listen closely... that’s the sound of learning at Northeast Academy! 🐾

Phonics is off to a flying start in Kindergarten. Ms. Clyburn is helping our Lynx decode new words, stretch out sounds, and gain reading confidence every single day.

Watch to see the focus on their faces and to hear them in action! 💙💛

We can't think of a better way to end the month than to celebrate two very deserving Lynx Rockstars!

Our August Core Value is Excellence, so it is with great pleasure that I present Adyn (1st grade) and Sahira (Kindergarten).

A round of applause are certainly in order for them both, because EXCELLENCE is truly their HABIT! Go LYNX!!!! 🎟️

💙💛 This week at Northeast Academy, the Journey to Excellence continued. 💛💙

During our Lynx Literacy Night & Annual Title I Parent Meeting, families came together to learn, connect, celebrate student work, and strengthen the shared responsibility of helping every child become a confident learner and reader.

What stood out most wasn’t the presentation, the resources, or the activities —
It was the engagement.
It was the conversations.
It was the curiosity of our students.
It was the sense of community.

Families, students, and staff came together to invest in one another and in the success of our children.

As a founding school, we are intentionally building a culture where every child belongs, every family matters, and every partnership counts. We believe that children achieve their greatest success when schools and families work together — and events like this remind us of what’s possible when we unite around a shared purpose.

Thank you to our Northeast Academy families and staff for making the evening meaningful and memorable.

💙💛 The journey continues.
Belonging. Learning. Growing. Leading.

💙💛 Attendance Matters at Northeast Academy!

Today, we proudly recognized our Lynx Scholars who achieved perfect attendance during the first two weeks of school! 🐾

Each day a student is present is another opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

We are grateful to our students and families for their commitment to showing up on time, ready to learn, and prepared for excellence.

At Northeast Academy, we believe that excellence starts with consistency, and these scholars are already setting the standard for the year ahead.
