Today is THE LAST DAY to pay your personal property and real estate taxes without penalty. We are open until 4:30. If you mail them they must be postmarked TODAY or they will be considered late. There will be a 10% penalty added, beginning tomorrow. You can pay online up until 11:59 tonight then the portal will shut off until I convert to delinquent next week.

I'm sure you're tired of me but just another day and a half of collecting your personal property and real estate taxes without penalty. Tomorrow (15th) is the last day. We will close at our normal time (4:30). We do have a dropbox just inside the front doors of the courthouse lobby. Online payment will shut down at 11:59 tomorrow night.

Two more days left to pay your personal property and real estate taxes without penalty. Thursday October 15th is the last day to pay current. Our office hours are M-F 8:00-4:30. We have a dropbox just inside the front doors of the courthouse lobby. If you mail them in, they MUST be postmarked by the 15th. You can pay online up until 11:59 Thursday night then the portal will shut down.

Don't forget that if you mail in your taxes, they MUST be postmarked by the 15th. Just because you get them in the mailbox that day doesn't mean they will be postmarked that day. Please plan accordingly or your payment may be returned back to you with penalties added.

Most of the banks are closed and the mail won't run, Monday October 12th, for Columbus Day. The courthouse WILL be open so you can still come in and pay your taxes. Our hours will still be 8:00-4 30, just like normal. You can always pay them online at

If you choose to mail them in, remember they MUST be postmarked by the 15th or they will be sent back with a notice of penalty added. Not counting today, there are 8 business days left to pay your personal property and real estate taxes without penalty. We will be open Monday October 12th (Columbus Day). You will be able to pay online up until 11:59 pm on the 15th then the portal will shut off. A 10% penalty will be added beginning October 16th.
