HUNTING IS NOT ALLOWED AT OUR CITY PONDS!!!

This goose was shot at our city ponds and left alive to suffer, with an arrow still lodged in its body. This is not hunting. This is irresponsible, inhumane, and completely unacceptable.

Responsible hunters understand the importance of ethical hunting practices, following the law, and ensuring animals do not suffer unnecessarily. There is absolutely no excuse for shooting an animal and leaving it behind to suffer.

This goose was not able to fly after being shot so no, it did not fly into the enclosed fenced in area.

If anyone has information regarding who may be responsible for this incident, please contact the Police Department.

đź’•SWEET SAGE

We are still trying to find Sage’s owner. She was found on the side of a rarely traveled gravel road in Osage, MN, with very few homes nearby. The surrounding homeowners were all contacted, but unfortunately, Sage did not belong to any of them.

Sage was found in extremely poor condition and has been receiving 24/7 veterinary care by the amazing Dr. Barb & her staff at Isaacson Veterinary Hospital throughout this entire week, beginning early Monday morning.

Now that she is hydrated, eating, and feeling better, she looks quite different than she did when she was first found. We are sharing an updated photo in hopes that someone recognizes her.

We learned today that Sage is spayed and has a spay tattoo. I can’t help but feel that she has been somebody’s beloved pet, and I’m really hopeful that there is someone out there missing her and wondering where she is.

Sage is estimated to be approximately 6–8 years old and was found completely blind.

Please share, especially in Osage, Park Rapids, and surrounding communities. We would love nothing more than to find the person who knows and loves this girl.

If you believe Sage is your cat, proof of ownership is required.

PLEASE NOTE: Sage is not her original name. I named her that as she was found in Osage.

Under the new law, drivers must stop AT LEAST 20 feet from a school bus whenever its red lights are flashing, even if the stop arm isn't fully extended.
