🏹🎭 **Lights, Camera, ACTION! Our Third Graders Shine!** 🎭🏹

It’s that time of year again! Our annual third-grade tradition is back, and this year’s production of **Robin Hood** was a HUGE success! 🌟

Our third graders learned an entire play in just ONE WEEK and then took the stage to perform. And WOW, did they deliver! 👏 We are so proud of these students for their hard work, courage, and fabulous performances!

A BIG thank-you to the amazing theater team StoryBook Theatre for bringing this experience to life and to our **PTA for funding this wonderful opportunity**! ❤️💛

What a fantastic way for our students to step outside their comfort zones, explore acting, build confidence, and discover the magic of performing arts!

🎨 **Meet Ms. Regel!** 🎨

We’re so excited to welcome Ms. Regel to the Mendota Elementary family! ❤️💛 She’s been a wonderful addition to our school, and our students are already loving their art classes with her!

Today, our 2nd grade artists explored **Cubism and the work of Pablo Picasso** before creating their own unique portraits. We love seeing their creativity, imagination, and artistic talents shine! 🖌️🖼️

🌲🔥 **A FOREST FULL OF FUN FOR OUR FIRST GRADERS!** 🔥🌲

Students were in the Forest as part of the very successful Mendota PTA walkathon. Mendota loves our PTA! Thanks for all you do!

📚 They enjoyed books, explored nature, and enjoyed **deconstructed s’mores**! 🍫🍪 What a sweet way to learn, explore, and make memories together!

A HUGE thank-you to our Mendota Elementary PTA for funding this special experience which was earned from our Walk-a-Thon!** ❤️💛 Your support helps create meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for our students, and we are so grateful!

So many smiles, so much fun, and memories our first graders won’t soon forget! 🐾🌲

We’d LOVE your help! Decorate your vehicle, pick a fun theme (maybe some bird-inspired fun to match our school theme! 🐦), and hand out candy or other treats. Please register by Friday, October 23 by returning the registration form sent home to your child, they can give it to their classroom teacher or the main office.

🎉 What an unforgettable night! Last night, our elementary school community came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and it was an absolute **huge success**!
From the incredible sounds of the live **mariachi band** and breathtaking traditional dances to the amazing Ixcali Tacos LLC and the crowd-favorite **piñatas**, every moment was filled with joy, culture, and community spirit. 🌮💃🎶
A massive **THANK YOU** to every single family, staff member, and student who came out to celebrate with us. Your energy and support made this night truly special!
