There is still ONE more silhouette out there in Menomonie to be found! There are 9 more days to find it-first one to post in the comments will win the last prize!

Our life-size silhouette cutouts represent a person, or a pet, who have been impacted by homicide due to domestic violence in Wisconsin. This year, we have separated the silhouettes around Menomonie accompanied with a story. Your mission is to find 1 of the 4 and post a picture in the comments.

It's crucial to recognize that even the people we are closest to, and those who may seem nice, can be capable of doing harmful things to others. We must hold everyone accountable so we can work to create safer communities, support survivors, and stop further harm. Most sexual assaults are perpetrated by someone the victim knows, meaning we must confront abuse within our circles.

Remember, raising awareness about these issues doesn't mean taking sides—it means standing up for what's right and ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in our community.

Survivors deserve safety. Survivors deserve support. Survivors deserve solidarity. Survivors deserve ACTION. For and beyond, we commit to showing up for survivors, always.

Leaving an abusive situation takes courage. Starting over takes support, a safe place to stay, and access to resources. But what happens when those resources are harder to come by?

Domestic violence shelters and support organizations across Wisconsin are facing funding challenges that make it harder to provide the services survivors need. In 2025, Wisconsin’s federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grants were reduced by 70%, putting even more pressure on organizations that help survivors find safety and rebuild their lives.

Now more than ever, our communities need to come together. You can help by volunteering your time, reaching out to elected officials about the importance of funding survivor services, or donating to your local shelter. Every bit of support makes a difference.

At The Bridge To Hope we’re here for survivors and our community, even when resources are limited. We know how important these services are, and we’ll continue doing what we can to support those who need us.

When resources are scarce, showing up for survivors matters more than ever.
