With nearly three decades of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the UWโ€“Stout campus community.

For Kevin, the profession is rewarding because of the opportunity to positively help someone. He also enjoys that every day brings a new challenge and something different.

Kevin enjoys getting to know the students and learning about their journey here at Stout. He also enjoys visiting with faculty and staff throughout the day. Building those connections and being part of the campus community is something he truly values.

He loves the ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฅ around Christmas and says Dining Services does an amazing job preparing the meal for everyone who can attend.

๐Ÿ’™Building Connections Through Conversation and Collaboration ๐Ÿ’™

The UWโ€“Stout Polytechnic Chief of Police had the honor and privilege of meeting with the Student Services Association for an open and meaningful conversation about campus safety, parking, the challenges facing our campus, and the important role Officer Harvey plays in our campus community.

The discussion also provided a valuable opportunity to talk about the Police Departmentโ€™s evolving core values and how they can better reflect the principles of campus and community policing.

Strong campus communities are built through listening, collaboration, transparency, and mutual respect. Conversations like these help us better understand the perspectives of our students and campus partners while continuing to shape a department that is responsive to the needs of the community we serve.

Thank you to the Student Services Association for the opportunity to connect, share perspectives, and work together toward a safer, stronger, and more connected UWโ€“Stout community!

The UWโ€“Stout Polytechnic Police Department wants to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to cheer, wave, smile, and celebrate with us at todayโ€™s parade! ๐Ÿš“๐ŸŽŠ

He appreciates the variety that comes with the job and the opportunities to get to know people outside of enforcement-related situations.
