๐ Happy Pride Month!
As we celebrate Pride Month, the Pride pin serves as a symbol of UCMPD's commitment to supporting and serving all members of our campus community. More than a pin, it represents awareness, inclusion, and the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

๐ Mental Health Matters ๐
During Mental Health Awareness Month, our department staff proudly wore green pins to promote inclusion on campus, raise awareness, and show support for mental wellness while helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
Weโre also proud to announce that our Police Department has secured a Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) grant to support officer wellness initiatives for our department members. This funding will help expand wellness resources, strengthen peer support efforts, and promote the overall well-being of our personnel.
As part of these efforts, we will also be hosting a Peer Support Training for law enforcement agencies June 22โ24.
Together, we continue building a stronger, healthier, and more supportive community. ๐
