Sierra Saving Grace Homeless Project assists chronically homeless, medically needy individuals in Merced County through our permanent supportive housing and rapid rehousing programs. We promote a housing first approach to solving homelessness through the provision of intensive case management, advocacy, and services in recognition of the inherent worth and dignity of all persons.

As the holiday season draws near, we are preparing to help our neighbors in need make happy holiday memories- filled with smiles, full bellies and grateful hearts! Bring a turkey to donate to 336 W. Main Street in Merced, between 8:30 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Or you can donate by clicking the link below and designate “Merced Turkey Drive” to contribute to this wonderful cause. All dollars will be used towards purchasing extra turkeys needed this year, as well as holiday meal boxes with all the fixens’.

The Point-in-Time count is happening this Thursday! Two of our board members are part of the team in Merced that will count and survey people who are experiencing homelessness. This effort is led by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
