San Angelo Gives 2026 — a chance to support the organizations that serve our community year-round.

The Mereta Volunteer Fire Department relies on donations to keep equipment maintained, respond to emergencies, and provide mutual aid across the Concho Valley. Every dollar goes directly toward protecting lives and property.

If you’re able, consider giving today. Even a small contribution makes a real difference.

Thank You, Mereta Community!

The Mereta Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to support our Chicken Cook Fundraiser. Because of your generosity, time, and continued support, the event was a great success.

We are grateful to our volunteers who worked behind the scenes, those who donated, and everyone who purchased or helped spread the word. Events like this directly support our ability to serve the Mereta area and respond when our community needs us most.

We truly live in a strong community, and we couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for standing behind your volunteer fire department.
