The MPEA was proud to come together this weekend to build Thanksgiving Meal Boxes for families in need through St Vincent de Paul
A huge thank you to our community partners who made this possible:
🦃 – for your support, and helping us connect with families who need a little extra this holiday season.
🛒 Ten Mile – for their incredible generosity in donating $600 worth of groceries, helping us build 25 full Thanksgiving meal boxes for local families.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and support those who could use a helping hand this Thanksgiving.
Service, partnership, and compassion — that’s what this season is all about.

🔥Community Strong for Firefighter Dan Krenz🔥
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came together to support Meridian Firefighter, Marine veteran, and youth coach Dan Krenz during his battle with serious medical challenges.
👏 Thanks to the amazing efforts of Wild Things Coffee Co., $1,500 was raised through donations and sales of their special cold brew. The Meridian Police Employee Association (MPEA) proudly matched that with $1,000, and now the Meridian Firefighters Local 2311 has stepped up to match the MPEA’s $1,000 as well!
💙 That brings the total raised to $3,500 for Dan and his family.
This is what community looks like—first responders and local businesses standing together when it matters most. Thank you to everyone who supported this effort. Your generosity means more than words can say.

A special shoutout to two of our Community Service Officers! After learning this young man recently lost his mode of transportation to/from work, these officers jumped into action to remedy the issue. Tonight, the Community Service Officers presented him with his new bicycle (sponsored by the MPEA).
A special thank you to these Community Service Officers for helping us continue to fulfill our mission of supporting our community beyond the badge.
