❤️ A Fresh Start Begins with Support.

We love our quarterly visits to the South Boise Women’s Correctional Center, and our most recent visit was a beautiful reminder of why this work matters so much.

Our team prepared clothing for 31 women to have waiting for them on their release day. Having something appropriate to wear the moment they walk out the door may seem like a small thing, but it can make a world of difference as they take those first steps toward a new beginning. Whether they are heading to a job interview, reconnecting with family, or simply navigating the next chapter of their lives, they deserve to feel confident, supported, and ready for what comes next.

Each woman also receives a card inviting her to visit our Dress for Success Boise Valley Boutique after her release, where she can access additional essentials, including handbags, toiletries, accessories, bras, and other items to help her move forward with confidence.

We want every woman to know that she is not alone. Her past does not define her future, and she deserves the opportunity to build a life filled with hope, dignity, and possibility.

At Dress for Success Boise Valley, we believe in offering a hand up, not a handout. These quarterly visits are a meaningful part of that mission, and we are so grateful for the volunteers who give their time and hearts to make them possible. ❤️

Thank You for Igniting Her Power ❤️ What a night. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday night to support Dress for Success Boise Valley and, most importantly, the women in our community.

Our Ignite HER Power Gala was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose. From our incredible sponsors and donors, to our volunteers, board members, guests, auction donors, and everyone who raised a paddle, purchased a ticket, or simply showed up...you made this night possible.

Because of you, women in the Treasure Valley will have access to the professional attire, career tools, confidence, and support they need to take their next step toward economic independence.
