🚨 🔔 Tonight the NMFD received multiple alarms involving old/expired CO detectors. It’s important to check your meters every 6 months at the minimum, and replace the batteries when you check them if it is not a sealed unit. Don’t wait until the alarm is beeping with a dead battery, keep you and your family safe! Meters with replaceable batteries should be changed every 5-7 years and meters with sealed batteries every 10 years, unless a problem arises before! Stay safe!
