A sighting of five blue pigeons has been reported at Coon's Bluff, Salt River, and we are seeking public assistance in retrieving these birds. We currently have two pigeons in care, and it is believed that these birds may have been used in a gender reveal, which can be detrimental to their survival in the wild, making them vulnerable to predators. is providing care for the retrieved pigeons.

We have confirmed that these pigeons were used in a gender reveal, and the family involved has expressed concern, stating that they were misled about the safety of this practice. The business responsible for releasing the pigeons has requested their return, acknowledging the use of food-grade spray dye. Our avian veterinarian has advised that this practice is highly discouraged and can be harmful to the birds' health, particularly their sensitive respiratory systems, with unknown long-term effects.
