This week we are celebrating EVIT instructors for Teacher Appreciation Week. Sandra wants to recognize EVIT Academy of Cosmetic Arts Aesthetics instructor Jaime Park.

Sandra writes: "She took a student from Westwood High School and taught her to see the world from beyond what she previously had. She inspired me to not only do better but become better. Ms park prepared me with everything I needed to succeed in the field. Her classroom became a safe space from my problems in where I could just indulge in the education being brought upon me. She didn’t just teach- she cared. She cared enough to make sure we all understood, she cared enough to make sure we succeeded, and she cared enough to make sure we were doing okay. She changed my whole aspect on learning, to the point in where I now want to be an aesthetics instructor myself. Her encouragement and persistence taught me that I am who I am and that I am capable of achieving everything I dream of. Dear ms park, I appreciate you immensely."
