The lobby of the Main Library has a new greeter! This dinosaur visited the Main Library a couple years ago, and we had a naming contest for it at that time - can you guess what the kids named it? π¦

Weβre excited to announce - on the 6 month anniversary of its grand opening - that the Gateway Library has been selected as a winner in the 2026 IIDA/ALA Library Interior Design Awards! This biennial competition honors excellence in library interior design and promotes examples of extraordinary design reflected through innovative concepts. The Gateway Library is one of two winners in the "Public Libraries - 30,000 sq. ft. and under" category. The Gateway Library was designed by architects and interior designers . Winning projects will be honored later this month at the annual ALA conference in Chicago. Congratulations to all!
