🎓💙 Did You Know? Mesa Students May Qualify for FREE College Tuition! 💙🎓

The Mesa College Promise is an incredible opportunity that helps eligible Mesa residents attend Mesa Community College with up to two years of tuition and registration fees covered! 🙌📚✨

Students may also receive:
✅ A $250 stipend each semester for books, transportation, and educational expenses
✅ Personalized academic advising
✅ Tutoring, counseling, workshops, and support services
✅ Internship and volunteer opportunities
✅ Help navigating FAFSA, scholarships, and college enrollment

Who may qualify?
🎓 Recent high school graduates with at least a 2.0 GPA
🏡 Mesa residents
💰 Students who demonstrate financial need through FAFSA
📖 Adult learners age 25+ who have not yet earned a college degree may also qualify.

🎬 Mesa Public Schools Summer Movie Fun starts next week on June 5 at 10 am at Mountain View High School!

This free community event is open to everyone and will take place inside the main gymnasium. Water and snacks are allowed, and blankets are welcome for seating on the gym floor. Bleachers will also be pulled out for sitting. Lawn chairs and folding chairs will not be permitted inside the gym.

Movie Lineup:
June 5: Inside Out
June 12: Encanto
June 19: Cars
June 26: Lilo & Stitch

Weapon detectors will be in use at the entry.

🎓💙 WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL GRAD WALK AT LEHI ELEMENTARY 💙🎓

Today was such a special day at Lehi Elementary as we welcomed back former Lehi Lynx students during the Westwood High School Grad Walk! 🐾✨

Our current Lynx students lined the halls cheering, clapping, high-fiving, and celebrating these incredible graduates as they walked through the very campus where many of their educational journeys began. Seeing our former students return in their caps and gowns was a powerful reminder that hard work, perseverance, and believing in yourself truly pays off. 💫🎉

Our students were able to see firsthand what their future can become through dedication, resilience, and strong support systems. This experience beautifully connected to the Mesa Public Schools Portrait of a Graduate by showcasing students who are prepared, resilient, engaged in their community, and ready for their future pathways. 🌟📚

To our Westwood graduates:
Lehi is SO proud of you! 💙 Your Lynx family will always be cheering you on as you take your next steps into college, careers, military service, and beyond. Once a Lynx, always a Lynx! 🐾🎓

Ms. Faherty and Ms. Mendoza led this year with ❤️ heart, high expectations, and strong alignment to the Mesa Public Schools Promise. Their positive energy, teamwork, and belief in the amazing growth of ALL students truly paid off. 🌟📚✨ As newer teachers, they have already proven to be phenomenal educators who deeply care about students while pushing them toward excellence every single day.

Today we celebrate a class full of best friends, laughter, talent, creativity, resilience, and BIG dreams! 🫶😂🎤🎨⚽📖 The future is incredibly bright for this group of students, and we are so proud of the growth they have shown during their time at Lehi Elementary.
