Hey everyone! I hope your Fall is going well so far and you’ve been able to get some camping trips in. If you are “putting your trailer to sleep” for the winter, this is a perfect time to put tow chain covers on the chains if you haven’t yet. I’ve attached the current list of pick up locations. Operation Spark Arrest is proud to partner with Desert Firehouse Subs in the East Valley. Gerry and Windy Griffin have generously donated a bunch of their red buckets to Operation Spark Arrest to place tow chain covers. I will be replacing some of the white buckets with their buckets. They have restaurants all over the east valley. Be sure to visit them and try the new Thanksgiving Sandwich! It is delicious!

We are proud to supply the Phoenix Zoo with hoses for their animal enrichment. The orangutans especially get wonderful use of the hoses! They make climbing apparatus and hammocks for Auggie the Andean Bear and lots of other animal enrichments. A great way to recycle retired fire hose.

Smokey Bear says you can prevent sparks! Current locations for pick up of tow chain covers. With just a simple preventative measure, we can all do our part.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you've all been able to get out camping before winter sets in. Wait, does that really happen here!! Two things to chat about today.
We are headed to Flagstaff ourselves this week to camp. I am still hoping to find a place up there as a pick up site. If anyone has a solid lead let me know.
I have just restocked some of the pick up locations, Interstate All Battery centers should have plenty as well as Desert Rat Offroad Centers. They even have some at their Tucson and Albuquerque locations!
If you head to a location and they are out or close to it please let me know and I'll get them some as soon as I can. They are a business and chain covers aren't their priority so I completely understand.

My husband and I just picked up 43 more hoses(I think)! That is going to be LOTS of sets!

Just a reminder, you will probably have to take off your hooks to get the hose on the chain. I have a step-by-step guide how to take them off on my page, just scroll back a bit. And to those who might say if you don’t know how to take off the hook you shouldn’t be pulling a trailer, people have to learn somehow. We weren’t born knowing these things and once you learn them you’ve got it. Let’s help each other learn and be better!
