The Mesquite Republican Women (MRW) is a local club that is a charter member of the Nevada Federation of Republican Women (NvFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW). ORGANIZATION’S PURPOSES

-To support the Republican ideals of:
a.) Limited government as supported by the framework established by the Constitution and
b.) Fiscal responsibility.

-To inform the public through political education and activity.

-To foster loyalty to the Republican Party at all levels of government.

-To promote the principles of the Republican Party.

-To participate in community, State and National politics.

-To support the objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee. DISCLAIMER:

Every election cycle, the pollsters and the media tell conservatives the same thing. It's over. Don't bother. The other side has already won.

Right now they're saying Democrats are building a commanding lead heading into the November 3 midterms.

We don't buy it. We've seen this movie before.

Remember 2024? The experts called it a coin flip. Cable news spent months gushing about Harris's momentum and "joy."

The Des Moines Register's final Iowa poll had Kamala Harris winning the state by 3 points. Trump won Iowa by 13.

He swept all seven swing states and became the first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years.

In 2020, an ABC News/Washington Post poll had Biden up 17 points in Wisconsin a week before Election Day. He won it by less than one.

In 2016, the polls practically had Hillary measuring the drapes.

Three straight presidential elections, and the polls underestimated Republican voters every time.

Whether it's by design or just bad polling, the effect is the same. When you hear your side is losing, it's tempting to stay home. A discouraged voter is a voter who doesn't show up.

That's the trap. Don't take the bait.

Midterms are turnout elections. Roughly half of eligible Americans sit them out, which means every vote you cast carries even more weight.

Polls don't cast ballots. Pundits don't cast ballots. You do.

Talk to your family. Call your neighbors. Offer a ride to someone who needs one. Make a plan to vote early or on Election Day, November 3.

Then show up and vote Republican, all the way down the ballot.
