There are only 10 yearbooks available for purchase. They may be purchased in the office for $15.

☀️ Reminder: Thursday, May 28, is the last day of school and an early release day for all campuses! As we wrap up another great school year, please make plans for students to be picked up at their early release time.

Play Day was a blast for our 3rd-5th grade students! From exciting games and activities to cooling off in the foam machine, the afternoon was filled with laughter, teamwork, and fun. What a great way to celebrate an amazing school year together! 🎉🫧☀️

Our Pre-K through 2nd grade students had an unforgettable Play Day morning full of smiles, laughter, and nonstop fun! ☀️💦🫧

Students in Mrs. Nickerson’s 5th grade science class presented a “Volume Zoo” for the campus. The students chose an animal, created an ecosystem and a food web and wrote a research paper about it. The students collected boxes, measured the volume of each box and recorded the data. They put together their animal with the boxes and wrapped it with paper. Check out their creativity! Mesquite ISD

Smith students will be bringing their devices home today. 1st through 11th-grade students in Mesquite ISD keep their school-assigned device year-round. This is to ensure all students have access to ebooks, audiobooks, and the ReadSquared summer reading program at home on their own device all summer! Additionally, taking their device home over the summer will allow all students to access online educational and enrichment resources to explore and create. Reading, thinking, and creating over the summer will continue to build the skills students learn in school and decrease the chance of learning loss while school is not in session.
