It was a hot afternoon, but we were honored to gather at Black Partridge Park today to dedicate a water fountain and bottle filler, along with a plaque honoring the life and legacy of Kedric Curtis.
Stop by Black Partridge Park to fill up your water bottle and take a moment to view the plaque honoring Kedric. We hope this fountain will serve our community for many years to come and be a lasting reminder of Kedric’s impact and legacy.❤️🏃‍♂️

The Metamora Park District Youth Hunting Program helps protect the natural beauty and wildlife habitats of Black Partridge Park while teaching young hunters about conservation and responsible hunting.

With guidance from experienced adult mentors, youth participants learn about safety, ethical hunting, respect for wildlife, and responsible stewardship of our natural resources.

By teaching the next generation to care for our parks and wildlife, we're helping protect Black Partridge Park for our community and future generations. 🌳🦌
