🚗 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRUNK HOSTS:

• Trunk setup is from 4:00–6:00 PM.
• Check in at the west-side gate by the basketball hoops before setting up.
• Trunk-or-Treat takes place from 6:00–7:00 PM.
• Please plan for more than 400 trick-or-treaters and bring candy to distribute.
• The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress and prepare accordingly.
• Vehicles must remain in place throughout Trunk-or-Treat. An organized dismissal will begin shortly after 7:00 PM and may take approximately 15 minutes.
• Voting for the Best Trunk will take place from 6:00–7:00 PM, with trophies awarded for first, second and third place!

🍭 Look for the PTC and Bolt’s Candy Monster during the event. Donated candy will be available to help our trunk hosts keep the candy flowing so every child can leave with a full bag of treats!

Reminder: Tomorrow is Wear Purple for Maylee Day! We’re celebrating Rett Awareness Day and a girl that we all love! 💜

On Friday, October 16th, Murphy will be having a 💜PURPLE OUT💜 to raise awareness for Rett Syndrome and support our student, Maylee. Maylee is a 4th Grade student with Rett Syndrome. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that affects 1 in 10,000 females (and even more rare in males). October is Rett Awareness Month and a portion of sales will go towards the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. Maylee's classmates and the whole Murphy Family adore her, and we want to celebrate the symbol of strength and love that she is for all of us!

To show our support, students and staff can ORDER a Rett's T-shirt (link below) or simply wear purple on October 16th! There are several more choices if you follow the link below! The store will be open through October 4th!
