Today's fire danger is high due to the dry ground and high winds. Absolutely no outside fires today.

Fire danger is high today. No burning. We spent a few hours last night assisting Peru Maine Fire Department with a woods fire and have a crew back there today. Please be mindful of burning and disposing of any hot items.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and forever changed by the tragic events in Lewiston three years ago. Our hearts remain with the families, survivors, first responders, and community members who continue to carry the weight of that day.
