🎃👻 Such a fun afternoon at UNIDAD’s annual Halloween party! It was wonderful seeing our seniors so energized, happy and enjoying every moment. Their enthusiasm and smiles were contagious, and we danced the YMCA together! Thank you to UNIDAD for bringing our community together and creating such a special celebration. 🧡

Today, we celebrated a $1.5 million investment in new artificial turf at Normandy Isle Park, made possible through Griffin Catalyst and the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee.

This investment means safer playing spaces, more opportunities for our youth, and a lasting legacy that will benefit our community for years to come. Thank you to all our partners for investing in Miami Beach’s future! 🇺🇸⚽

🎷 An unforgettable afternoon at Jazz at Joe’s, supporting the incredible work of Big Brothers Big Sisters at Miami Beach’s iconic Joe’s Stone Crab!

It was wonderful to enjoy great music, support a meaningful cause, and spend time with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Micky Steinberg. Investing in mentorship and helping young people reach their full potential makes a lasting difference in our community.

Honored to have sponsored the renaming of a portion of Venetian Way at Dilido as Judge Irving and Hazel Cypen Way, recognizing their lasting contributions to our community. 💙

I first met Hazel while canvassing with my late partner, Mark Samuelian, during his first campaign for City Commission in 2015. It was especially meaningful to celebrate this special recognition alongside her family.

Thank-you to Miami-Dade County Commissioner Steinberg for helping move this designation forward at the county level.

Some connections stay with us long after the campaign ends, and I’m grateful to have played a part in recognizing the Cypens and their place in our community’s history.

It was great spending time with our residents and their four-legged friends at Yappy Hour!

Beyond bringing our pet-loving community together, these events are an important opportunity to remind and educate residents about the importance of picking up after their pets.

🚯 Did you know? Pet waste left on sidewalks, grass, and other outdoor areas can be washed by rain into our storm drains, eventually making its way into Biscayne Bay. This can introduce harmful bacteria and excess nutrients into our waterways, impacting water quality and marine life.

💧 Keeping Miami Beach clean starts with each of us. By picking up after our pets, properly disposing of pet waste, and keeping our streets and green spaces clean, we can all help protect our environment and the beautiful waterways we call home.
