๐ŸŒŸ : Eric Alรกn

Meet Eric Alaฬn โ€” Founder & Creative Director of Rico Starr, a Miami-based, Latino and gay-owned fashion brand born from Studio 54 glamour, q***r nightlife, and unapologetic self-expression. โœจ

A former dance-pop recording artist and 15-year club performer, Eric started designing his own statement pieces when he couldn't find clothes bold enough for the stage. That same creativity fuels Rico Starr today โ€” rhinestones, glitter, camp-forward designs, and inclusive sizing from XS to ###L. The brand has dressed stars on RuPaul's Drag Race and been worn by Rod Thomas of Bright Light Bright Light, all while maintaining a 4.9-star rating from customers who keep coming back.

But for Eric, it's bigger than fashion. A portion of every sale supports trans-affirming care and LGBTQ+ su***de prevention โ€” because Rico Starr isn't just a brand, it's a community built on confidence and visibility. ๐Ÿ’™

Eric brings that same bold spirit into MDGLCC, embodying the entrepreneurial energy and authentic pride that make our Chamber a home for members like him.๐ŸŒŸ
