Consulate General of Bangladesh, Miami

The City of North Miami Beach observed the second annual NMB Asian Night Market, a landmark economic and cultural celebration to mark AANHPI Heritage Month. The Consulate General in Miami participated in the market and showcased Bangladeshi cultural heritage including handicrafts, textiles, foods and traditional cultural performance to build up a monumental bridge between the local community and the rich traditions of the Asian diaspora.

Miami-Dade County Asian American Advisory Board celebrated Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Kickoff Presentation. With the theme "Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together", the event celebrated significant contributions made by Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders to the development of the arts, sciences, government, military, commerce and education in the United States. The celebration also marked the 250th anniversary of the United States with the colorful cultural performances representing Asia. Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin was invited for that celebratory event and joined with the Mayor, Board of County Commissioners, board members, staff and community leaders.

বাংলাদেশ কনস্যুলেট জেনারেল, মায়ামি গত ০২ও ০৩ মে ২০২৬ তারিখে অরল্যান্ডোর কিসিমি তে একটি ভ্রাম্যমাণ কনস্যুলার ক্যাম্প পরিচালনা করেছে। এই ক্যাম্পের মাধ্যমে অরল্যান্ডোর এবং এর পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকার উল্লেখযোগ্যসংখ্যক সেবাপ্রার্থী অত্যন্ত সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে ই-পাসপোর্ট, নো ভিসা রিকোয়ার্ড (NVR), পাওয়ার অফ অ্যাটর্নি এবং অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কনস্যুলার সেবা গ্রহণ করেছেন।
এই আয়োজনে সার্বিক সহায়তা প্রদানের জন্য ০৭ ম এশিয়ান ফুড, মিউজিক ও কালচারাল ফেস্টিভাল এর আয়োজকবৃন্দসহ স্থানীয় প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের কনস্যুলেটের পক্ষ থেকে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাচ্ছি। আপনাদের আন্তরিক সহযোগিতা আমাদের এই কার্যক্রমকে সফল করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেছে।

The Miami-Dade County Strategic Procurement Department organized the International Procurement Summit where public sector leaders, international partners, and the business community gathered to explore global trade and procurement opportunities. Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin participated that International Summit as a distinguished panel speaker.

The purpose of the Summit is to promote business opportunities with public agencies in South Florida, while also fostering pathways for Miami-based businesses to engage in trade with foreign governments. During the panel discussion Consul General Ms Sabrin highlighted Bangladesh's procurement process, governing legislation, eligibility and registration requirements for international vendors in Bangladesh, opportunities and challenges in this connection. The overall discussion was focused on international procurement and global market access.
